4. Helping people get an education and find work

Over the past 12 months, government organisations reached 44% of their goals for this theme.

But government organisations:

The Department of Education supported teachers to learn how to be inclusive.

This includes planning how to support children with disability and their learning needs.

The Department of Education kept track of how many people with disability are in school and training.

13,405 students with a disability took part in Vocational Education Training (VET) in 2021.

OCPSE shared their plan about how to support people with disability to find and keep government jobs.

They call it their Disability Employment Strategy.
