What happens next?

Now that Mr Dennis has shared his recommendations, we will start working through them.

A document with lots of points. Most of them are highlighted with a tick next to them, and the remaining points have a cross next to them.

We want to use most of the recommendations, but not all of them.

We are also creating our first Autism Strategy.

Autism affects how you:

  • think
  • feel
  • communicate
  • connect and deal with others.

This strategy is a plan about how to make our community inclusive and fair for people with autism.

We have also been building more Changing Places in South Australia.

These are accessible toilets for people who need more support than from other accessible toilets.

South Australia currently has 17 Changing Places.

We plan to have more by 2025–26.
